CARE TIPS

Can’t wait to enjoy that scent? Before you get out the lighter or matches, there’s just a few more things to ensure. We promise it’s for you and your candle’s own good.

BURN TIME

We suggest burning candles in 3-4 hours cycles. Burning a candle for more than 4 hours can reduce the overall burn time of the candle.

MINIMUM BURN TIME

If you blow out your candle before the entire surface has melted, there may be hardened wax around the edges of the container. When you relight the candle, the flame might struggle to reach the outer edges, causing the candle to only consume the inner portion of the candle. This phenomenon is known as tunneling and resembles a small tunnel going down the center of the wax. To avoid an uneven burning cycle, it is best to let the surface of your candle melt entirely before putting it out.

PRODUCT LIFESPAN

Once you can see the wick tabs at the bottom of the candle, it is time to extinguish the candle as it has reached its end of life. Wax will still be left in the bottom of the jar, which will be roughly a quarter of an inch.
